2- Ellipse Stomach Balloon

Ellipse Stomach Balloon is the world's first and only gastric balloon that can be used without any surgical procedure and without endoscopy and anesthesia.

 

The ellipse stomach balloon is 85% thinner than silicone stomach balloons. It is small enough to fit into a capsule with its thin and flexible structure. The balloon, which is compressed in the capsule, is swallowed with a glass of water. Once the balloon reaches the stomach by abdominal x-ray, the balloon is inflated to 550 ml and the inflating catheter attached to the capsule is slowly pulled out of the mouth.

 

Endoscopy or anesthesia is not required during this procedure. The balloon application is completed in approximately 20 minutes. The balloon stays in the stomach for 16 weeks. At the end of the 16-week period, the discharge valve of the balloon opens by itself and the balloon extinguishes and is excreted naturally.
